Emanuele Traviglia was born in Rovigo in 1957, he lives and works in Verona.
His work does not come from academic studies but from a great and instinctive passion for painting and art. Self-taught artist, in the positive sense of self research and investigation, he finds his expressive form attaining from an uneasy unconscious and on-the-road life, without censorship, with a total imprudent spirit of freedom. That’s the story of a body obsessively represented by his triumphs and pains. Impure and innocent like a Pasolini’s body.
