(Milano, 1924 – Vergiate 2003)

Painter and sculptor of international culture, he collaborated also with André Breton, Marcel Duchamp, Raymond Queneau, Edoardo Sanguinetti and Umberto Eco. In 1951 he founded together with Sergio Dangelo The Nuclear Painting Movement and in 1953 together with Asger Jorn the “Movement for an Imaginist Bauhaus”. Surrealism and Dadaism influenced his work.
