Adriano Nardi, in his second solo exhibition at the gallery La Giarina, deepens his long and complex work of research on representative mechanisms, through works that blend painting and digital and become the link for a reflection on the order and the deception of perception.

The analytic dimension that has always marked Nardi’s work comes here on a suspended track where the female body can paradoxically transform itself into forms of a mental landscape, challenging our certainties and arriving at a territory of conceptual investigation where the beauty is broken down and re-ordered through a rigorous method of study of the vision and of her coordinates. The painting then assumes different consistencies, it transforms in a rough epidermis or in a medium of slight material, is dematerializes in the fluids of pixels and returns ambiguous to deflect the security of our glance. In this short circuit between eye and mind, the human figure mysteriously regains an new strength to occupy the space of the image though the paradoxical system of its apparent dis-solution, by means of being taken apart and of its decomposition, dialectically resolved however in the metamorphous of its structure that uncover the new and enigmatic value of its physical and symbolic presence.
