Equilibridi is the name of the book by Ernesto Jannini published for Matteo Editore  that gives the title to his personal exhibition that Boris Brollo presented at La Giarina di Verona.
Ernesto Jannini presents himself to the Verona public with 9 new works that draw attention to a rich and sapient artistic path in the realm of installations, of painting and performance: a triple display on which the author works on for more than 30 year research.
In this exhibition Jannini confronts the more obvious themes of our contemporaneity, going to investigate, with detachment and irony, the relation between nature and technology and, ultimately, the relation between war in theassurd sense of the word and in the clear madness that in most cases substantiate the projects of western societies.

Through the immediacy of the installations and of the performances Jannini gives back the images of the contradictions between which men debate, the responsibilities and the game so of power that have brought a ruling determinism. In particular it is the case of the opera, provocatively named opera, Ultima cena (last supper), where a missile appears suspended 80 centimetres from the top of a prepared table. Or in the performance, Piano Bar in which the authors makes with the piano some standard motives, but all the while with a missile behind him. Poetic and apotropaic actions, in which the devices of war are alienated elements in the canal of our daily tranquillity.
On the side of painting, that Jannini imagines as the practise of silence, the author  is ready to gather the innocence lost by dogs, of flowers or of fruit: images constantly seen through   thin horizontal lines of micro-circuits.
"The things that apparently seem distant - one reads in Jannini's book - have to cohabit in a new equilibrium; even if it is a strident equilibrium, or that is inclined to hybrid. For this reason, creating a  neologism, I speak of equilibrium: that is fluctuating equilibrium, temporary systems that dock at the paradox of a lull of movement"
