Tadeusz Kantor (Wielopole, 1915 – Cracovia, 1990)
He was a painter, stage designer and theatre director among the main theorists and authors of the Twentieth-century theatre. During Second World War and in the following years, Kantor works on his theatrical poetic, of which one of his main aspects is the precariousness of existence experienced mainly during the war period.
